If it is filmy stuff, it needs chorus. Youth Congress has come out against the release of Ilaythalapathy Vijay’s much-awaited action flick Bairavaa on January 12.

Youth Congress state president Dean Kuriakose said they would not allow an other-language release in the state which has 'pathetically' failed to release even one Malayalam film due to the ongoing strike involving film exhibitors and producers, since December 16.

"When the Malayalam movie industry is facing a crisis, no one should not even think of releasing other-language movies here. The issue has been going on for almost a month and this shows the careless attitude of the government," he said.

Vijay has a huge fan base in Kerala and the movie is slated to be released in 75 screens. Surya-starrer Singham 3 is also expected to be released by January-end. The film-lovers are expecting a positive climax.
