Chennai: Actor Vikram’s daughter Akshita got engaged to Manu Ranjith, the great grandson of DMK leader M Karunanidhi, here on Sunday.
The engagement ceremony was private and low-key. Director S Shankar was among the attendees.
The couple have been in a relationship for some time now.
It is understood that the wedding has been scheduled for next year.
