Bigg Boss Tamil Season 1, hosted by Kamal Haasan, gained popularity for a lot of reasons. Oviya and Arav's relationship was one among them. The actress had even tried to drown herself in the swimming pool when Arav ignored her in the house. She also professed her love for the model-actor.
Almost two years after the show, looks like Oviya and Arav have ended their relationship. In a recent interview with the Times of India, Arav revealed that he's single.
"No, I am not in a relationship. Oviya is in her hometown, busy with her own work commitments. And I am working on my films. But we have been in touch on and off. I have also been in touch with my other Bigg Boss Tamil housemates... almost everyone," he said.
Earlier, in yet another interview, Oviya had said, "During Bigg Boss, we had our share of disagreement and difference of opinion but now, everything has been sorted out. Arav and I are good friends, we are not in a live-in relationship and the marriage reports are also mere rumours."
Interestingly, Oviya and Arav have teamed up for a film titled Raja Bheema in which the actress is essaying an extended cameo. Meanwhile, Oviya is gearing up for her Malayalam release 'Salt and Pepper 2' directed by Baburaj.
