Grammys style shock: Chappel Roan arrives almost nude, Justin Bieber performs in gym shorts

The Grammy Awards, which kicked off in Los Angeles, USA on Monday morning (IST) kicked off with host Noah Trevor's taking a dig at singer Nicki Minaj, who has become an outspoken 'fan' of US President Donald Trump. Nicki’s absence from the prestigious music event was conspicuous. While the monologue is receiving plenty of attention, Justin Bieber also managed to steal the show with his delivery of 'Yukon', wearing just shorts and a pair of socks.

‘Yukon’ has been nominated for four awards, including Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best R & B performance, went viral. But it was American singer-songwriter Chappel Roan who made heads turn at the event as she arrived at the Grammy Awards red carpet almost nude. The singer wore a topless Burgundy Mugler sheer dress, which hung from faux chest piercings. She also revealed a large lace-inspired tattoo across her bare back, confidently posing for the cameras.

Chappel has been nominated for two Grammys this year -- Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, for 'The Subway'.

Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga are among the music icons whose best-selling albums are vying for the top awards, while Indian artists and those of Indian-origin are also making waves with their nominations this year.
