After the success of his critically acclaimed film Mukundan Unni Associates, Director Abhinav Sunder is back with his latest venture, Mollywood Times. Recently, the makers dropped a high-energy, fun-filled track titled "Apna Friday Aayega," featuring the talented Naslen in a sharp tuxedo as he sets the dance floor ablaze.

The song opens with Naslen’s powerful voiceover: "Hard work, passion, and talent—if you have these three, you can achieve anything in this world." This dialogue, delivered with flair, hints at the character's aspirations of becoming a filmmaker, but with a twist—he doesn’t want to stop there. “I want to be the best,” he declares before diving into an energetic performance.

The track's upbeat vibe and Naslen's dynamic dance moves immediately catch the eye, but it's the subtle spoof elements in the song that hint at the film’s larger narrative. Given Abhinav Sunder's talent for blending humor and drama, as seen in Mukundan Unni Associates, it’s no surprise that Mollywood Times might follow suit with a satirical edge.

Produced by Ashiq Usman, the film also boasts an impressive music score by Jakes Bejoy, whose track record includes several chart-topping hits. The screenplay is penned by Ramu Sunil, while Viswajith Odukkathil handles the cinematography. The editing is managed by Nidhin Raj Arol, and Vishnu Govind has mixed the song.
