Badshah and Isha Rikhi announce separation five months after marriage

Rapper Badshah and actress Isha Rikhi have announced their separation, five months after getting married. The couple, who had reportedly been in a relationship for several years before tying the knot in March 2026, have decided to part ways mutually.

Their wedding was a private affair attended by close family members and friends, with no prominent guests from the entertainment industry reportedly in attendance. Badshah confirmed their separation in a statement shared on social media, saying that the decision was made with mutual respect and requesting privacy. He also made it clear that they would not be making any further statements about their relationship.

“I and Isha Rikhi have mutually decided to part ways and move forward on our separate paths. This decision has been made with mutual respect, and we request everyone to kindly respect our privacy during this time. This will be our only statement on the matter. We sincerely request that there be no further speculation or assumptions regarding our relationship,” he wrote. Isha also shared the same statement on her Instagram account.

The two had reportedly met through mutual friends at a party and had been together for several years before their marriage. Badshah rose to prominence with popular tracks such as DJ Waley Babu, Mercy, Genda Phool and Jugnu. His music, particularly his blend of rap and mainstream pop, also played a role in bringing hip-hop further into the Bollywood mainstream.

Before his relationship with Isha, Badshah was married to Jasmine Masih. They tied the knot in 2012 and divorced in 2020. The former couple have a daughter, Jessemy Grace Masih Singh. Isha Rikhi, who hails from Punjab, began her career as a model before making her acting debut in Punjabi cinema. She later ventured into Bollywood and appeared in films including Nawabzaade.
