It's Baahubali day at IFFI today

Panaji: S.S. Rajamouli's national award winning Telugu film "Baahubali" will be screened at the ongoing 47th edition of the IFFI here Sunday. The multi-crore visual extravaganza found a place in the feature section of Indian Panorama after it won the national award for best film.

Other major films to be screened Sunday, the penultimate day of the nine-day festival, include "I Olga Hepnarova by Tomas Weinreb and Petr Kazda, "Graduation" by Cristian Mungiu, "The Last family" by Jan P. Matuszynski and "I, Daniel Blake" by Ken Loach.

"I, Daniel Blake" won the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.

"Gods in Shackles", a documentary by Sangita Iyer, which portray the cruelty towards captured elephants in Kerala during festivals is scheduled to screen Sunday.

Oscar winner Alan Heim will conduct a master class on editing while Clyde Christopher will speak on virtual reality.

This year's film festival will come to a close Monday at a gala function and award ceremony.
