Rs 50 crore 'Startup Jharkhand' coming up

Ranchi: Jharkhand's Chief Minister, Raghubar Das, said that the Jharkhand government has introduced "Start-Up Jharkhand," earmarking Rs 50 crore to encourage entrepreneurs in different sectors.

Innovation and Incubation Centres were being set up at a cost of Rs 10 crore, he said, adding an innovation lab would also be set up with the help of IIM Ahmedabad.

Das said that entrepreneurs were being encouraged in the sectors like Information Technology, Health, Tourism, Agriculture, Biotechnology and alternative energy.
