New Delhi: Union minister of state Alphons Kannanthanam has offered a comfort for Kerala's rubber farmers, as the Central budget is due tomorrow. He has assured that a special package will be announced for them.
The minister said the intention is to ensure a minimum price and to resolve the crisis the farmers are facing.
Kannanthanam said minister of commerce Suresh Prabhu has assured that he will himself receive suggestions for this, and discuss suggestions for the rubber policy.
