Kochi: From developing and managing one of India’s pioneering public-private airports to creating innovative solutions across the aviation ecosystem, Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) has accumulated decades of experience in airport development, operations, technology and commercial management. Now, CIAL is taking this expertise beyond Kochi through CIAL ACES – Aviation Consultancy & Expert Services.
CIAL ACES was formally launched by Kerala Chief Minister and CIAL Chairman V D Satheesan, who also unveiled the logo of the new initiative. Conceptualised under his leadership, CIAL ACES is envisioned as a platform to take CIAL’s accumulated experience and expertise to airports and aviation projects across India.
CIAL ACES offers specialised expertise across Airport Operations & Cargo, Commercial & Revenue Advisory, Airport Electrical & Airfield Systems, Airport IT & Digital Solutions, and Safety, Fire & Emergency Services.
The first assignment under CIAL ACES has already taken shape at Durgapur Airport in West Bengal. CIAL ACES is implementing a Passenger Verification System at the airport, powered by software developed in-house by CIAL. The project demonstrates how CIAL’s operational experience and technological capabilities can be adapted to address the specific requirements of other airports. CIAL’s own journey provides a strong foundation for such consultancy services. During the 2025–26 financial year, CIAL recorded a total revenue of around ₹1,220 crore and a net profit of ₹502 crore, while handling 73,134 aircraft movements and 1.14 crore passengers.
For airports and aviation stakeholders seeking specialised consultancy and expert solutions, CIAL ACES brings the experience of an airport that has itself successfully navigated the complexities of aviation development and operations.
