Thodupuzha, Idukki: Amid fears of more kids falling prey to the fatal Blue Whale Challenge in Kerala, the police have registered a case against a teenager here for spreading the deadly online game.
The police have booked the Murickassery native under the IT Act. It has been decided to subject him to counseling.
His mobile phone has been sent to the cyber cell for further examination. He had earlier revealed to his friend that he had passed four levels of the game.
He was under police surveillance after he repeated the claim to the cops on Thursday. He told the police that he received the link to play the game through a WhatsApp group.
Meanwhile, state police chief Loknath Behera on Friday said no case of Blue Whale death has been confirmed in Kerala. He said it would take some time to complete the scientific examinations relating to the suspected cases of Blue Whale deaths in Thiruvananthapuram and Kannur.
