Kochi: The Kerala High Court has closed a contempt of court case against Kerala Water Authority (KWA) managing director A Shainamol after she apologized to the court.
The IAS officer on Monday appeared before the court and sought pardon.
The high court had on Friday issued an arrest warrant against Shainamol after she failed to appear before it in connection with the case.
The state police chief was asked to produce the officer in court on Monday.
The Engineering Projects India Limited (EPIL), headquartered in Chennai, filed the contempt petition against Shainamol. The complaint from the firm said that she ignored a court order to increase its contract amount.
