Thrissur: A youth from Tamil Nadu has been arrested for molestation bid on a young Malayalam actress during a train journey.
Thrissur police arrested Anto Bose of Kanyakumari following a compliant from the actress.
The accused tried to inappropriately touch the actress while she was asleep in an AC coach of Mangalapuram-Thiruvananthapuram Maveli Express. The incident occurred around 1am between Shornur and Thrissur railway stations.
The accused, who was booked under Section 354 of IPC, was presented before the magistrate and remanded in custody.
The young actress also alleged that none of the co-passengers, including women, came to her rescue.
