Thiruvananthapuram: The southwest monsoon officially set in over Kerala on Saturday, May 24, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Minister K Rajan said another deep depression is likely to form in the Bay of Bengal by May 27, according to indications from several weather agencies.
