Thrissur: A 23-year-old female karate champion was found dead in her bedroom at her house in Mala on Thursday morning. The deceased is Ayisha, daughter of Noushad of Alangattukaran House, Edathur, Annamanada. Family members found her unresponsive around 7 am. Preliminary assessments suggest that she died of a heart attack.
Her death occurred just 25 days after her marriage to Muhammad Ihsan from Neendoor, Chelakkara. The couple had tied the knot on July 13. Ihsan had left for abroad just a week ago.
An accomplished karate trainer, Ayisha was associated with Kazoku Karate India. She was a postgraduate student at Panampilly College, Chalakudy, and a multiple-time state karate champion. She also worked as a karate trainer at several institutions in Mala, including Soccorso School, Carmel College, Snehagiri Holy Child School, and Palissery SNDP Higher Secondary School.
