Wayanad: Bridging the gap between flower farmers in Karnataka and Onam revellers in Kerala, 'Pookkoda', an online initiative of agrarian start-up Food Care, will deliver flowers for floral carpets to households across the state at competitive rates.
According to Rajesh K, founder and CEO of the start-up, 5 kg and 10 kg flower kits, containing a mix of flowers and green leaves, can be booked online through the website foodcare.in. The kits include jasmine, crape jasmine, chrysanthemum, rose, and marigold. “One packet of flowers can be kept for two days without any change in colour,” he said.
