Vice President of India, Shri CP Radhakrishnan, is set to visit the State on December 29, during which he is expected to attend the Snehasangamam programme organised as part of the Trivandrum Fest at the Palayam LMS Church compound.

The Vice President will first arrive in Puducherry on December 29, where he will attend a civic reception, followed by the unveiling of the statue of Mahakavi Bharathiar and the launch of a housing project under the Smart City Mission. He is also expected to participate as the Chief Guest at the 30th Convocation of Pondicherry University, Puducherry.

Later in the day, he will travel to Kerala to attend the Snehasangamam programme organised as part of the Trivandrum Fest, hosted at the LMS compound of the Mateer Memorial CSI Church.

The following day, the VP is scheduled to attend the 93rd Sivagiri Pilgrimage at Varkala, after which he will inaugurate the public meeting to mark the conclusion of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram.

Later the same day, he will travel to Tamil Nadu, where he will participate as the Chief Guest at the valedictory ceremony of Kashi–Tamil Sangamam 4.0 in Rameswaram.
