Palakkad: Two young female cousins were found dead at a house in Olavakkode. The victims, Nima (20) and Anupriya (19), were found hanging inside the same room at their maternal grandmother Leela's house.
The victims' grandmother and their uncles were present in the house during the time. Police said that family problem forced them to take the extreme step. They had scribbled a note on the wall stating the same.
Nima is the daughter of Nenmara native Sundran and Geetha. She got married last year and her husband Jayaprakash works in the Gulf.
Anupriya is the daughter of Kadalundi native Prasul Babu and Malathi. She had been staying at her grandmother's house for some days, relatives said.
