When a 6-year-old Keralite boy grilled Steven Gerrard

Aisin Hash, whose parents are from Kerala, interviewed former England and Liverpool FC captain Steven Gerrard, and LFC ambassador Gary McAllister.

Dubai: Kids may let their emotions get the better of them when meeting their idols whom they watched only on television. But six-year-old Aisin Hash appeared unfazed by the enormity of the occasion when he got a chance to interview former England and Liverpool FC captain Steven Gerrard, and LFC ambassador Gary McAllister.

Aisin, whose parents hail from Malappuram in Kerala, excitedly hurled question after question at the legendary footballers who landed in Dubai as part of the promotion of the latest edition of the Standard Chartered-sponsored LFC World, an interactive roadshow intended to bring the club closer to its fans around the globe.

Aisin was selected from a pool of over 50 children of different nationalities who applied to be part of the historic event.

The teaser of the 10-minute interview, in which Aisin appears as a character called Ahmed, has been shared on the Liverpool FC’s official Twitter account and Standard Chartered’s Facebook page.

Aisin is the son of Hash Javad, a native of Moothedam near Nilambur in Malappuram district, and Naseeha, who hails from Nallalam in Kozhikode district. Hash Javed is a mediaperson based in Dubai.

Aisin is also a popular child model in the UAE who have appeared in the advertisements and promotional campaigns for over a dozen famous brands such as IKEA, Du Telecom, PediaSure, Babyshop, Capri Sun Tropical Fruits Drink etc.

He was selected as the ShutterStock Middle East Kid Model 2018. The judges for the contest were noted Italian fashion photographers Fabio and Cristiano.
