Casemiro  struck the winner in the 83rd minute as Brazil edged Switzerland 1-0 to seal their place in the last 16 of the FIFA World Cup on Monday. Brazil joined champions France to become the second team to secure a place in the knockout phase.

Brazil have six points from two matches, followed by the Swiss (three from two) in Group G. Serbia and Cameroon have one point each.
