Bengaluru: Bengaluru FC entered the semifinals of the ISL amid high drama after Kerala Blasters walked off the field while trailing 0-1 in the first half of extra time in the first knockout match here on Friday.

Blasters coach Ivan Vukomanovic took his players off the field protesting Sunil Chhetri's goal in the seventh minute of the extra time. The Blasters players were just getting ready to face the free-kick when Chhetri slammed the ball into the net.

Referee Crystal John waited till the end of extra time to blow the final whistle as Bengaluru emerged winners 1-0.

Bengaluru will meet league toppers Mumbai City FC in the semifinals.
