India crushed Nepal 110-32 in the 3rd South Asian Basketball Association (SABA) women's qualifier in New Delhi on Sunday.
Captain Sreekala R top-scored with 27 points, six assists and four steals, while Krithika Suresh made 15 points for Team India.
India led 23-6 in the first quarter and stormed into a 42-10 lead at half-time. India hit 36 points in the third quarter, before taking it home with a 22-13 final quarter.
Maldives and Nepal play on Monday, while India's second game of the three-nation qualifying round is against Maldives on Tuesday. The final is scheduled for Wednesday.
The Indian men's team were humbled 106-55 by Iran in the first round of their Asia Cup qualifiers the other day.
