Aditi Rao Hydari, character Sufi's lover Sujata in the recent Malayalam release 'Sufiyum Sujataum,' caught the imagination of the movie buffs with her stellar performance. Apart from acting, Hyderabad-native Aditi is into singing and dancing and has made her presence felt in the south Indian filmdom since 2004. The actress is an avid traveller and shares some of her travel escapades.

A myriad of travel experiences
The countries such as Turkey and Taiwan are a perfect blend of eastern and western cultures, and travelling to these two places has given some unique experiences, says Aditi. Another destination that stands out for the actress is Cape Town in South Africa, which has a good reservoir of mountains, lakes, lush greenery, and animals. The main attraction of Cape Town is the mesmerizing Table Mountain.
Sea at its best in the Maldives
The Maldives is one of the most sought-after destinations of many travellers, including celebrities. The picturesque beaches and sea are the hallmarks of a Maldives tour. The actress has travelled by the seaplanes of the isles, and the archipelago is one of the favourite tourist spots of the Bollywood stars. Aditi has shared some entrancing pictures of her dream journey to Amsterdam in the Netherlands on social media. Amsterdam is a place where you can freely roam around on foot and the views are so breathtaking that they look like something straight out of grandmothers' tales.
Five hours in a car and 90 minutes on a boat
Aditi was part of a tiger protection programme initiated by a prominent national channel in association with the Sundarbans Tiger Reserve in West Bengal. The actress had to travel in a car for five hours and on a boat for 90 minutes to reach Sundarbans.
The boat ride was very thrilling as the river had large areas of mangroves. Though we couldn't go inside the forest or see the tigers, the trip was really memorable," she recollects.
Upcoming tours
Aditi wants to travel to the seven states in northeast India to sink in the beauty of the 'seven sisters' after the COVID-19 pandemic is over. "I haven't travelled to northeast India and am also looking forward to a tour to South America," she adds.
