Pranav and Vismaya Mohanlal's favourite destination, which they call the 'most beautiful' in the world

Vismaya Mohanlal is all set to debut in the Malayalam film industry, and for her, this is the first phase of getting to know the audience through interviews and social media. Vismaya, who recently spoke to Rekha Menon as part of her film promotions, opened up about her bond with her brother and actor Pranav. She revealed that she loves travelling with the Hridayam actor, who has a separate fanbase for his wanderlust and photography.

When asked what their favourite destination is to travel together, Vismaya said it's the Himalayas. Despite having visited many countries, Vismaya says she finds it the most beautiful in the world. "It's another world," says the actress, who said that her favourite place, otherwise, is Thailand. "I am very free there. I can take my scooter and go anywhere," says Vismaya, who spent a long time in Thailand. However, the actress confesses she wouldn't want to live in the Himalayas. "It's too cold there," she said.

The siblings' Himalayan trip
In the past, Pranav Mohanlal has shared quite a few photos from his trip to the Himalayas. One of his trips was to Dhankar Gompa in Spiti, known for its 1,000-year-old cliffside monastery and the hike to the Dhankar Lake. The spot often finds a mention on the must-visit locations of Spiti. Dhankar Gompa is also often credited as the capital of the Spiti Kingdom around the 17th century. It also has many centuries-old wall paintings, sculptures and statues.

Kunzum La and Chandra Taal, two other iconic high-altitude spots near Dhankar Gompa, are the other spots Pranav has clicked pictures at. They are considered the gateway to the valleys of Lahaul and Spiti.

A few years ago, he had also shared a fun reel captioned 'Things you might see on a trip through Spiti,' showcasing the area's bridges filled with prayer flags, tented accommodations, naughty monkeys, and flocks of sheep that take over narrow mountain roads. Spiti, located in the Trans-Himalayan region, often experiences sweeping winds, freezing temperatures, and high solar radiation. It also has some unique wildlife like blue sheep, Himalayan ibex and snow leopards.
