Ranjini Haridas visits Paris' legendary spot, shares postcard-worthy pictures

Anchor-influencer Ranjini Haridas has been a globetrotter, both for work and fun. Recently, she even confessed bumping into actress Aishwarya Lekshmi while travelling in Japan. Now, Ranjini has shared a handful of stunning photos from a recent Paris trip. The pictures are exclusively from her trip to the legendary Louvre Museum. Yes, the same spot that experienced a massive theft last year in October, in which four thieves stole jewels and valuables worth more than $100 million, that too while visitors were actively checking out the museum! Authorities had arrested quite a few individuals connected to the crime in a few months. Ranjini has shared many gorgeous exhibits on her page, including the Mona Lisa painting, bronze sculptures by Martin Desjardins, Saint Sebastian by Pietro Perugino and more. 

The largest and most visited
Paris' Louvre Museum, or the Museum du Louvre, is the world's most visited and largest museum. It is located on the Seine River of Paris and has around 3,80,000 exhibitis, some of which are Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, the oldest deciphered legal writing known as 'The Code of Hammurabi,' the renowned armless Greek sculpture of goddess Aphrodite and most of all, the museum's 71-foot-tall glass pyramid. The institution, which began in 1793, is housed in a royal French Palace built in the 12th century. 

The need for detailed planning
Unlike many museums, a visit to the Louvre needs deliberate, detailed planning. It doesn't sell tickets at the door, and an entry slot should be reserved in advance through its website. Tickets start from €22 and upwards. However, entry is free for EU residents under 26 and anyone under the age of 18. Also, on the first Friday of every month, after 6 pm, except in July and August, visitors can enter the museum for free. Its opening hours are 9 am to 6 pm, and it's closed on Tuesdays.
