Late Post Alert 🚨 We had the awesome @priyankajena and @roadshaman join us last week at the farm to celebrate Frodo’s birthday! As they own @wheelsandtails one wouldn’t in their wildest dream imagine how refreshing and real these guys are ! Priyanka instantly made farm her home and Tanveer was super watchful of our puppies! They enjoyed and indulged in the farm , fed the chickens and Frodo chased the chickens and made friends with the calf ! They became so much of our family that I even hitched a ride back to Bombay with them and Ofcourse shared the seat with Frodo ! But more than anything what really touched me were two things : 1. Priyanka didn’t get Cruise along as I mentioned to her that Buddy (farm doggo )has been territorial post the pups and is on an alpha steak and she acknowledged that Cruise is an alpha too- so it might be a bad idea ! Most pet owners fail to display this level of maturity and understanding of their pet behaviour and hence make it difficult for other pet parents too ! Accept and take ownership of your pet’s temperament! If only more parents were this responsible we would be able to open the farm to a lot more pet parents! 2. On our way back to Bombay there was a hit and run - and the dog was just lying dead on the highway , the next car or truck would have crushed the fellow. What could we do - what would you do - and what did @roadshaman do , he stopped the car and went and picked the body and lay him on the side - the most respect that a dead stray dog would have ever received! These acts move me ! They are deep and can only come from souls who have much to give !
