Here's what you have to do to go on a Bharat Darshan with IRCTC

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) is launching a 10-day ‘Bharat Darshan’ trip covering places of interests in the country.

Where does it go?

A press release from the IRCTC says that the train will, in the course of 10 days, cover Allahabad, Varanasi, Gaya, Kolkata and Puri. The all inclusive tour package covers the fare for the train journey in sleeper class, road transportation for sightseeing, accommodation, all meals besides IRCTC tour manager and specialized guides and travel insurance.

When does it leave?

The train will leave on 5, July and return on 15, July. You can board the train from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Wadakkancherry and Palakkad. 

What does it cost?

The package cost Rs. 10,795 per person and reservation for the above tour can be done online at www.irctctourism.com. 

Overseas travel

IRCTC is also organizing a package tour to Thailand. The five-day package costing Rs 42,238 will include economy airfare, three-star hotel accommodation, AC vehicle, tour guide, visa charges and travel insurance.
