Special UAE flights to Kochi, Kozhikode announced for Onam; expats can fly home for just Rs 4,750

Abu Dhabi/ Fujairah: Special flights have been announced for expatriates to fly home for Onam without breaking their banks. Tickets have been priced at just 200 dirham (Rs 4750) in these special flights. Besides, passengers can carry up to 40 kilos of baggage and seven kilos of hand baggage. Special flight services operated by Al Hind Travels have been scheduled to Kochi and Kozhikode sectors from Fujairah between August 20 and September 8.

Al Hind Travels’ Head of Operations, Arun Radhakrishnan, said that bus services have been arranged from Dubai and Sharjah emirates to Fujairah and back for the passengers who have booked to travel in these special flights. They can also travel back to the UAE on affordable rates by September 8. Meanwhile, other airlines have increased ticket fares by up to four times as schools in the UAE reopen on August 26. Exorbitant fares have been charged even on connecting flights.

Arun Radhakrishnan stated that tickets are available for just 999 dirham from Kochi and Kozhikode sectors to Fujairah in the special flights from August 25 to September 8. Passengers travelling from Kerala would be allowed up to 30 kilos of baggage. Phone – 0501370372.

Fujairah – Cochin: Departs at 3 am and arrives at 8.30 am

Kozhikode – Fujairah: Starts at 12.45 pm and lands at 3.30 pm
