Washington: US-based company Bare Necessities has organised the ‘Big Nude Boat’, a luxury cruise filled with people who enjoy being free from clothes. Sailing from Miami in Florida, the cruise visits exotic islands and beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The annual tradition of the US company, which was halted for a while, will resume in 2026. Meanwhile, it isn’t cheap to enjoy the luxury cruise wearing nothing but a smile. The tickets on the Big Nude Boat cost around Rs 43 lakh per head.

The cruise sets sail to some of the enchanting destinations where guests can embrace naturism. The 11-day-long cruise promotes body positivity and mutual respect. More than mere sexuality, the cruise aims to build confidence and comfort in one’s own skin. Meanwhile, people are drawn to the freedom to stroll along the beautiful beaches, sipping cocktails without worrying about swimsuits or designer outfits.

The Norwegian Pearl is a floating playground that can host up to 2300 people. There are 16 restaurants, 14 bars, two bowling lanes, a casino, a spa and garden villas on the boat. There are strict ‘no–photography zones’ around pools and dance floors. Misconduct or violating the ship's rules earns an immediate ticket off at the next port.

According to reports in international media, the ticket price may increase to Rs 43 lakh. However, the company says that most people are reluctant to enjoy this experience due to the exorbitant ticket price. Meanwhile, clothing is mandatory in dining halls, at the captain’s reception, and at cultural events, as well as whenever the ship docks at ports.
