Next week, PM Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the newly announced Bengaluru-Ernakulam Vande Bharat train (26651). The six-day train will have services on all days except Wednesdays. It will depart from KSR Bengaluru station at 5.10 am and arrive at Ernakulam Junction at 2.20 pm. On the return journey, the train (26652) will depart from Ernakulam at 2.20 pm and reach Bengaluru by 11 pm. Here are the details.

Fares and booking
The train, which covers 608 km in about 9 hours, is speculated to have an 8-coach rake, with one executive coach and seven standard chair cars, though the railway hasn't announced the details yet. Last year, the special Ernakulam - Bengaluru Vande Bharat had charged Rs 1465 for chair car, including food, and Rs 2,945 for executive chair car.
