New KSRTC bus services to Kozhikode, Munnar and Cherthala were flagged off recently from the KSRTC bus stand in Kottayam. Meanwhile, a new service from Changanassery was also introduced to Mananthavady. Two swift superfast premium buses are used in rotation for the Mananthavady daily service. Here are the details.
Buses from Kottayam depot
• The Cherthala bus starts from Kottayam at 6 am and reaches Cherthala via Kumarakam at 7.35 am.
• The bus to Munnar departs at 6.10 am and reaches the destination by 1.30 pm via Muvattupuzha and Adimali.
• The bus to Kozhikode leaves at 1.45 pm from Kottayam and stops at Muvattupuzha, Angamaly and Thrissur before reaching at 9.35 pm.
Mananthavady bus from Changanassery
The bus starts from Chanaganassery at 8 am and reaches Mananthavady by 5.25 pm. Meanwhile, the return trip is at 5 am and arrives at Chanaganassery at 2.55 pm. The service from Changanassery to Mananthavady is operated via Kottayam, Muvattupuzha, Angamali, Thrissur, Kozhikode and Thottipalam. Visit the website www.keralartc.com for booking.
