KSRTC's highly popular budget tourism cell is rolling out an exciting array of interstate and domestic tour packages from Kannur this month. Whether you fancy relaxing on a beach in Goa, experiencing a traditional Aranmula Vallasadhya feast, or trekking through the misty hills of Munnar, these carefully curated itineraries offer something for every travel enthusiast at incredibly affordable rates.

Goa beach escape
The highlights of the September itinerary begin with an interstate trip to Goa's beach paradise. Departing from the Kannur depot on September 18 at 5.30 pm, the tour will transition to a luxury AC bus from Thalappadi. Priced at ₹7,030 per person, this popular package promises a relaxing coastal getaway before returning to Kannur at 9 am on September 21.

Aranmula Vallasadhya and temple tour
For those seeking a spiritual journey, KSRTC is hosting a comprehensive temple tour departing on September 4, 5, 8, 12 and 15. Leaving Kannur at 6.30 an, pilgrims will visit Chottanikkara, Vaikom, Kaduthuruthy, and Ettumanoor temples, with an overnight stay at Chengannur. The second day features visits to the historic Pancha Pandava temples, Kaviyoor Cave Temple, Mannarasala, and Ambalappuzha Sree Krishna Temple. A major highlight is the traditional Vallasadhya feast at the Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple. The entire package, including the feast and bus fare, is priced at just ₹2,700, with travellers returning on the morning of the third day.

Munnar and Kanthalloor wilderness
Scheduled for departures on September 11 and 25 September at 8 pm, this package is perfect for nature lovers. It offers a unique opportunity to catch a glimpse of the rare Neelakurinji blooms in Munnar, alongside exploring the pristine locales of Kanthalloor and Marayoor.
