KSRTC's first budget trip from Kannur to Goa starts on September 25: Here's how to book

Budget-friendly leisure trips organised by KSRTC are a favourite among travel enthusiasts of Kerala, as they offer solo travellers and groups a safe and cost-effective way to explore. The curated journeys, called 'Ullasayatra,' recently became an interstate affair as well, with KSRTC launching budget trips to Lakshadweep, Hyderabad and Goa. The first trip to Goa from Kerala will depart on September 25. Here are the details.

Timing, location
The weekend getaway is scheduled to depart from Kannur at 5.30 pm on Friday. Passengers will travel on a standard KSRTC bus to the Thalapady state border, where they will shift onto a comfortable AC bus for the rest of the journey. The group is scheduled to arrive in Goa on Saturday morning.

An exciting two-day itinerary
Upon arriving on Saturday morning, travellers can freshen up, enjoy a hearty breakfast, and head straight to the iconic Aguada Fort.
