Sakhavu, the upcoming Nivin Pauly-starrer is one of the most-awaited Malayalam films of 2017. The trailer of the movie, which is directed by national award-winner Sidhartha Siva, has been released online by the actor himself.
The video features Nivin as comrade Krishnakumar who seems to be interested more in realpolitik than public service. The trailer offers glimpses of the protagonist, sporting his iconic beard, and his encounters with other characters. The character played by Althaf accompanies Krishnakumar wherever he goes as a true sidekick. His transformation from the schoolboy in his last outing Premam is stunning. It seems the film is a sarcastic take on politics and the youths who try their luck in the power game.
The trailer of Sakhavu also presents Nivin in an altogether avatar as a true comrade from the past. Now we just want to know if he is playing double role in the movie.
The trailer also offers glimpses of heroin Aishwarya Rajesh, Aparna Gopinath, Gayathri Suresh and Renji Panicker.
