Roopesh Peethambaran's ‘Touch’ touches a nerve

'Touch', a new short film starring Roopesh Peethambaran, is getting everyone talking.

Written and directed by Bhibin Bharathan, the eight-minute-46-second video offers a sneak peek into an abortion clinic, where humans make decisions against God.

Loosely based on some true events, the short film has succeeded in conveying a strong social message against abortion and strikes a chord with the audience.

Apparently, Roopesh did the project much before his recent outing in Tovino-starrer ‘Oru Mexican Aparatha.'

“When director Bhipin came to me to discuss about the concept, I felt that it's a subject that needs wide attention,” said Roopesh.

“We shot the movie in a day’s time but it took a while to release it as the project was done on a shoestring budget,” he added.

Produced by Dream Wings Productions, 'Touch' is distributed by Hole Entertainment.
