She said if AMMA was family, wouldn't an oral complaint suffice?

Trouble seems to be far from over for the embattled Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA). Now, its new president actor Mohanlal seems to be at the receiving end of a section of artists after his recent press conference in Kochi.

The survivor actress of the February 17, 2017 abduction and assault case termed actor Mohanlal's stance as 'unsatisfactory.' The survivor actress made the statements through her friend and actress Remya Nambisan. Mohanlal had reportedly stated at the press conference that AMMA was one family and both the survivor actress and Dileep, an accused in the assault case, were its members. Mohanlal had also stated that he was with the survivor actress and he also prayed for Dileep's well-being.

Remya Nambeesan said the survivor actress had spoken to her. “I spoke to her about this after watching the press meet. She said if AMMA was family, wouldn't an oral complaint suffice? AMMA's response was that they would enquire about it and revert,” she said.
