Title poster of Mammootty's 'Unda' is a hit online

Mega star Mammootty’s newly announced project ‘Unda is gaining popularity in the virtual world. His fans are excited ever since the title poster of the movie came out.

Mammootty reportedly plays the role of a police officer in the movie directed by Khalid Rahman. This is the filmmaker’s second venture after the critically acclaimed superhit movie 'Anuraga Karikkin Vellam'. 

The title poster has become viral on the social media within just a few hours of its release. As per the reports the movie will be as unique and entertaining as its title. The movie will go on floors in October this year. Besides Mammootty, Shine Tom Chacko, Jacob Gregory, Sudhi Koppa, Dileesh Pothen, Alencier, Arjun Ashokan and Lukman play pivotal roles in this big-budget movie. 

Gavemik who cranked the camera for Tamil movies like 'Jigarthanda', 'Ammakanakku' and 'Soorya 37' will be the cameraman of 'Unda'. Action choreographer Syam Kaushal, who worked in blockbuster Bollywood movies like 'Dangal' and 'Baajirao Mastaani' will be directing the thrilling action sequences in this movie as well.

The screenplay is by Harshad, and the music is composed by Prashant Pillai. Nishad Yosuf is the editor.

The movie is produced jointly by noted production house  Gemini Studios and Movie Mill of Krishnana Sethukumar. Many leading actors from Bollywood too would be featured in this movie which will be shot primarily at various locations in North India.

Amazing star

The mega star, meanwhile, is all set to wow his fans with a number of much-awaited releases in different languages. Telugu political thriller 'Yathra' and Tamil drama 'Peranpu', which garnered laurels at many international film festivals, will hit the screens soon. 

'Peranpu' will be released in October followed by Telugu movie 'Yathra'. 

Mathuraraja, sequel of superhit movie 'Pokkiri Raja' and historical movie 'Mamangam' are Mammootty’s forthcoming Malayalam movies.

Besides, movies like 'Kottayam Kunjachan 2', 'Bilal' and 'Ameer' have been announced with the mega star in the lead roles.
