Director B Unnikrishnan’s upcoming flick 'Kodathisamaksham Balan Vakeel' starring Dileep has been released. In the movie, Dileep plays the role of a lawyer who stammers.

Kodathisamaksham Balan Vakeel is produced by Viacom18 Motions Pictures and the movie will go on the floors on February 21. Mamta Mohandas will be the heroine of the movie.

Dileep is donning the role of an advocate after Ranjith Sankar's 2009 movie 'Passenger'.

Aju Varghese and Saiju Kuruppu will also be seen in supporting roles.

It is not the first time that Dileep is essaying the role of a differently abled person.

In 2013 flick 'Sound Thoma', he played a cleft-lipped man, a blind man in 2006 movie 'Chess' and a man with a hunchback in 'Kunjikkoonan' (2002). For his performance in 2005 movie 'Chanthupottu' as a man who behaves like a woman, he received special mention at the state awards.

In 1998 movie 'Punjabi House' he played a deaf-mute man,and in 2012 through 'Mayamohini' he cross-dressed as a woman. He characters in 2003 flick Thilakkamand 2006 flick 'Chakkaramthu' was widely appreciated.
