It would be a mistake to say that the iconic comedy 'Nadodikkattu' is an old movie for the Sathyan Anthikkad directorial still produces the same vigour and freshness and many feel that a movie that is entertaining enough to surpass it is yet to come.
However, a scene in the movie, which was released in 1987, is revisited by the sons of the acting maestros, Mohanlal and Sreenivasan who played the evergreen roles of Dasan and Vijayan respectively, as they posed for a photo at Basant Nagar beach in Chennai.
It was the same spot where Dasan and Vijayan swim ashore mistaking it for Dubai beach after they were duped by a fraudster, Gafoorka (played by Mamokkoya) in the movie.
The photo of Vineeth Sreenivasan and Pranav Mohanlal was posted on Instagram by the former with the comment, 'No caption.' Indeed, it doesn't need one. The photo sums it up all.
The photo was taken during the filming of Vineeth directorial 'Hridayam,' starring Pranav and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead.
Several actors including Jude Anthany, Lena among others commented below the picture. 'Hridayam' released recently is running successfully in the theatres.
