Will happen at the right time: Basil Joseph on collaborating with Mammootty and Mohanlal

Basil Joseph is undeniably one of the most promising actors and directors in the Malayalam film industry. Known for his versatility and charm, fans are eagerly awaiting the day he collaborates with the legendary actors Mohanlal and Mammootty. In a recent interview with Sillymonks Mollywood, Basil revealed his aspirations and plans for teaming up with the iconic actors in future projects. He mentioned that one or two projects are already in the pipeline, with scriptwriting currently underway. However, he admitted that delays have hindered the progress of these collaborations.

“I also wish the movies would happen soon. It’s not under my control; that’s the reason why the projects are not happening right away,” Basil shared during the interview. He expressed confidence that the projects with Mohanlal and Mammootty would come to fruition at the right time.
Basil’s latest release, 'Pravinkoodu Shappu', has further cemented his reputation as a talented actor. Directed by Sreeraj Sreenivasan, the film is a cleverly crafted mystery with standout performances from Basil and Soubin Shahir.
