Sushin Shyam celebrates fanboy moment as AR Rahman follows him on Instagram

Music director Sushin Shyam recently shared one of the happiest moments of his life. The composer was overjoyed when none other than A R Rahman began following him on Instagram. He quickly took a screenshot of the notification and posted it on his story, writing, “This is honestly my first real fanboy moment. Truly grateful for your kind message, sir.”

Sushin’s independent musical album Ray was released recently and has already crossed 1.5 million views on YouTube. The project marked his first solo effort as a composer and producer. With both music and lyrics created by him, Ray stands out for its refreshing concept and striking visual experience. The joy of Rahman’s acknowledgement came as an added high soon after the album’s release.

At present, Sushin is composing the score for Balan, directed by Chidambaram. The film’s first-look poster was unveiled by the makers recently. Beyond his film commitments, Sushin also runs his own band, 'The Down Troddence', with which he actively performs at music shows.
