To mark the 10th anniversary of the blockbuster film 'Baahubali', the epic saga is set for a grand re-release. Originally launched in two parts over two years, the film will now return to the big screen as a single, unified feature titled 'Baahubali: The Epic'. The re-release is slated to hit theatres on October 31, with a newly unveiled teaser offering a glimpse of what’s to come.
Directed by visionary filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, the Baahubali franchise became a cultural phenomenon and redefined Indian cinema with its scale, storytelling, and visual effects. The film stars Prabhas in the dual roles of Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali, alongside Rana Daggubati as the antagonist Bhallaladeva, Anushka Shetty as Devasena, Tamannaah Bhatia as Avantika, Ramya Krishnan as the fierce Rajamata Sivagami, and Sathyaraj as the loyal Kattappa.

Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner of Arka Mediaworks, the re-release aims to bring the beloved saga to both loyal fans and new audiences with a polished, immersive look.
The first part, 'Baahubali: The Beginning', released in 2015, introduced audiences to the mysterious origins of Mahendra Baahubali and his journey toward discovering his royal lineage. The story culminates in the betrayal of his father, the noble warrior prince Amarendra Baahubali, by his envious brother Bhallaladeva. In 2017, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' followed, revealing Amarendra’s rise, his romance with the fierce Devasena, and his tragic downfall. The saga concludes with Mahendra avenging his father’s death and restoring justice to the Mahishmati kingdom.
