Kalyani Priyadarshan celebrated the success of the film ‘Lokah’ along with her mother Lissy. Mammootty’s daughter Surumi also joined the celebration. The event was organised in Chennai.
“Celebrating the mega success! Humble, happy and grateful to the Almighty. Congratulations and thanks to each and every one who created ‘Lokah’,” Lissy wrote. She also shared photos with Kalyani Priyadarshan, Surumi, Dulquer Salmaan and Naslen.
Meanwhile, ‘Lokah’ has so far grossed ₹250 crore worldwide. The film continues to receive an excellent response in all the centres where it has been released.
Kalyani won hearts playing the role of Chandra, a modern reimagining of Neeli, the yakshi from Kerala folklore. Chandra’s younger version, played by Durga C Vinod, equally mesmerised audiences with her performance as the young Kalliyankattu Neeli.
Earlier, Kalyani had revealed the advice her father, veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan, had shared with her. Posting a screenshot of his message, she wrote: “Never delete this message. Don’t let success go to your head. Don’t let failure into your heart, my dear. This is the best advice I can give you.”
