Anchor Rajesh Keshav, who had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kochi following a massive heart attack, has been shifted to CMC, Vellore for advanced care. His close friend Prathap Jayalakshmi shared a health update, posting a photo of Rajesh being moved into an air ambulance. Rajesh had been admitted to the ICU at Lakeshore Hospital for the past 29 days.

Prathap Jayalakshmi wrote: "Our beloved Rajesh is about to begin a new journey. Over the years, we’ve travelled happily together to many countries—but this journey is different. Today, it is from Kochi to the hospital in Vellore. Rajesh is accompanied by his younger brother Roopesh and his wife Sindhu. We are deeply grateful to the doctors at Lakeshore Hospital who treated Rajesh over the past 29 days, and to the nurses—angels sent by God—who cared for him like their own brother or son. We also thank the hospital staff and management for their unwavering support.

I hold close to my heart the dear friends who managed to arrange an air ambulance overnight. I cannot thank Central Minister Suresh Gopi, SKN, Yusuff Ali Sir, Wayfarer Films, and close friends like Swaraj, Sreeni Rajakrishnan, Rajeev Warrier, Premam, and Shemeem enough for making all the arrangements possible.

The ambulance, fully equipped with life-support systems including a ventilator, departed from the hospital. As it drove past the Crowne Plaza Hotel—where Rajesh had performed just before he collapsed—memories flooded in. It passed through Vyttila, Palarivattom, Lulu Mall in Edappally, and the Marriott Hotel. These are places tied to his performances and stay. I wonder... is Rajesh aware of all this?

The ambulance then passed Aluva and swiftly reached Nedumbassery Airport. Check-in formalities were completed within 15 minutes. All bags, including critical medicines, were quickly cleared. A dedicated team of doctors and ICATT’s captain were already waiting by the aircraft. We boarded the flight, praying silently and hoping to reach Vellore in an hour and a half."

Noting that he would write about the people who worked hard to coordinate everything at Vellore, Prathap Jayalakshmi wrote, “I thank all of you who have been calling to enquire about Rajesh’s health. Keep praying and Rajesh will recover and come back with strength.”
