Actor Ranveer Singh’s 'Dhurandhar,' which hit theatres on Friday, has opened to an impressive start at the box office. The film, helmed by Aditya Dhar — known for directing hits like ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ — collected ₹27 crore on its first day, marking one of the highest opening-day collections for a Bollywood movie in recent times.

As of Day 2, the film has garnered nearly ₹40 crore in net worldwide collections. According to Sacnilk, a box-office tracking website, the film earned ₹8.72 crore in the first few hours of its second day.
The film’s title track has also emerged as a major hit. Composed by Shashwat Sachdev and Charanjit Ahuja, the song blends modern hip-hop, Punjabi influences, and cinematic grit. It is sung by Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas, Sudhir Yaduvanshi, Shashwat Sachdev, Muhammed Sadiq, and Ranjit Kaur, with lyrics written by Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas, and Babu Singh Maan. ‘Dhurandhar’ is produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.
