Ranveer Singh's upcoming action thriller, *Dhurandhar: The Revenge*, directed by Aditya Dhar, is set to escalate the intensity with a personal and high-stakes revenge narrative, as revealed by the recently released trailer. The film features Singh in dual roles as Jaskirat and Hamza, exploring a darker, more ferocious turn for his character, supported by a prominent cast including R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt, and draws inspiration from real geopolitical tensions and covert intelligence operations, including events linked to the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios, the movie will have a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and preceding Eid al-Fitr, and will be available in five languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
The development comes shortly after an incident in which five rounds were fired outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Juhu.
