Ajay Devgn has unveiled the release date of the Hindi version of ‘Drishyam 3’, even as the Malayalam original is yet to lock its theatrical outing. The actor shared a teaser announcing the date, accompanied by the caption, “The final chapter remains.” The Hindi film is slated to release in theatres on October 2. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is produced by Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare, and features Tabu, Shreya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, and Ishita Dutta in key roles. It is backed by Panorama Studios, the banner that previously remade the first two parts of ‘Drishyam’ in Hindi.

In contrast, the release date of the Malayalam ‘Drishyam 3’, starring Mohanlal and directed by Jeethu Joseph, has not yet been announced. Produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, the film’s worldwide theatrical and digital rights were jointly acquired by Panorama Studios and Pen Studios, making it one of the biggest business deals in the history of Malayalam cinema. However, producer Antony Perumbavoor and Aashirvad Cinemas continue to retain the film’s profit-sharing rights.

Jeethu Joseph had earlier clarified that the Malayalam version would reach theatres first, with the Hindi version following roughly two months later. If that plan remains unchanged, the Malayalam film is expected to release in February or March. The cast of the Malayalam version includes Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Siddique, and Asha Sarath, with Antony Perumbavoor producing the film under the Aashirvad Cinemas banner.
