How would it be if Mohanlal, Mukesh and Shweta Menon danced for a song from a Mammootty movie?
The thought struck Arun P.G., a graphic designer, when he saw a post on Facebook and he decided to apply his creativity into it.
Arun then spent some quality time on mixing the video of 'Alare Govinda', a dance number from Mohanlal's 2001 film Kakkkuyil with the audio of 'Margazhiye Mallikaye' from Mammootty's Megham which released in 1999. Both Megham and Kakkakuyil were directed by Priyadarshan.
And, the final video from Arun had Mohanlal, Mukesh and Shweta Menon tapping their feet to the Megham song that featured Mammootty, Sreenivasan and Priya Gill.
So, what's the catch factor here? The visuals of 'Alare Govinda' have been edited by Arun to fit like a T to the Megham song. The dance steps of Kakkakuyil looked like they were made for the 'Margazhiye Mallikaye' song.
When Arun posted his work in Cinema Paradiso Club, a Facebook group of movie buffs, he was showered with praises. Here are some of the comments: “Perfect sync, the song has gone to another level, superb, epic making, excellent mix, Marana Mass!”
“I now wish that the video of the song was like this,” read a comment to the video.
Now, see the original 'Margazhiye...' video here to know how Arun worked his way around the song. Arun, who runs a Facebook page Arun Editz, had done such interesting videos earlier too.
