Playback singer M.G. Sreekumar, who has given many hit numbers along with Radhika Thilak in Malayalam films, said that Radhika Thilak, who passed away on Sunday, did not get enough opportunities.
"Radhika was an excellent singer. I was really attached with her. We had worked together for many projects and programmes and that's how I know how talented she was."
Expressing his heartfelt condolences, the singer said:" Radhika didn't get much opportunities while comparing to her talent. If she had, she would have reached more heights like singers Sujatha and Chithra."
Radhika had also worked as a co-anchor with Sreekumar for a popular TV show.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Oscar-winning sound recordist Resul Pookutty condoled the death of Radhika. "Deeply saddened by singer Radhika Thilak's untimely demise. Sharing the family's grief," the chief minister tweeted.
