The severe heatwave in the state is making us sweat profusely. Besides causing bad body odour and itching, sweat is definitely not your ‘best friend’ if you love makeup. The heat and sweat can instantly melt the makeup, making it look messy or cakey. However, you could look amazing, even during the sweltering heat, by following these simple K-beauty tips using your regular skincare and makeup products.

Moisturizer
Make sure to use an oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin healthy and hydrated. Moisturizer should be used at all seasons. Moisture is required to maintain the softness and elasticity of the skin.

Sunscreen
Do not forget to apply a good sunscreen that has an SPF rating of at least thirty. It is better to use sunscreen on your face even if you are staying indoors. Reapplying sunscreen at proper intervals is essential to protect your skin when you are outdoors. You could use a makeup sponge to evenly spread the sunscreen over makeup.

Primer
Primer should be applied before makeup in order to make your makeup look natural. Besides, it holds the makeup in place, even during harsh summer. Using a good primer is an amazing way to fight the sweat on the face.

Bloating paper
Bloating paper that isn’t too shiny could be used to wipe off the sweat and oil. Tissue or handkerchief may move you makeup, making it look messy. Meanwhile, bloating paper absorbs the sweat perfectly.

Setting spray
Spritzing the setting spray on your face after makeup would add a beautiful glow while locking in the makeup. This doesn’t allow the sweat to break down the products that you have applied on the face. Even if you sweat, it wouldn’t flow down your face, melting the makeup, if you have used setting spray. Moreover, always carry the lipstick and foundation in your purse to touch up.
